The Palais Galliera, the Fashion Museum of Paris, reopens its doors after two years of renovation work since 2018 and brings the first comeback retrospective on the remarkable French fashion designer, Gabrielle Chanel, Fashion Manifesto. After visiting the exhibition, we have a better understanding of the designer's life and her works.
Gabrielle Chanel is a definite game-changer in the women's fashion industry at the beginning of the first half 20th century. She has revolutionized the world of sewing and has turned her creations into a true fashion manifesto. To showcase the timeless style created by Coco Chanel, The museum has collaborated with international cultural institutions and has gathered more than 350 works in the exhibition. Divided into ten chapters, the show recreated a complete image of Chanel by presenting ten portraits of the legendary designer, from the beginning of her career in Normandy to the great success she has achieved in France and the New World overseas.
